The connection of houses using GPON technology is executed within the frame of modernization of existing network of general use. GPON allows to connect a subscriber via a personal fiber-optic cable, which is led directly into an apartment or a private house. This gives an indisputable advantage in the Internet speed in comparison with other technologies, where optics only reach the house, and an ordinary cable is laid inside the building to the apartments.
