Kuwait’s “Al-Arabi” won the Kuwait Crown Prince Cup with the lead of the Croatian coach Ante Mise.
“Al-Arabi” beat SC “Kuwait” in the final match on Tuesday. The main time of the match has finished with a score 1:1. In extra time, neither team was able to achieve an advantage. And in the penalty shootout, “Al-Arabi” was stronger - 5:4.
“Al-Arabi” won the Kuwait Crown Prince Cup for the eighth time.
54-year-old Ante Mise took over “Al-Arabi” in December 2020. In the 2020/21 season, he led “Al-Arabi” to the first championship in 19 years.
In the AFK – 2022, “Al-Arabi” will play in Group B together with the clubs “Dofar” (Oman), “Shabab Al-Khaleel” (Palestine) and “Al-Riffa” (Bahrain). The matches will take place from the 18th to 24th of May in Kuwait.
Ante Mise is known in Turkmenistan for his work with the national team, which he headed from 2019 to 2020.
