The State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan hosted a presentation of two new felt paintings "The Story of Love" and "Tales of the Karakum wind" by an amateur painter, animal artist, candidate of biological sciences Tajigul Kurbanova. This is reported by the publication ashgabat.in.

The felt picture "Tales of the Karakum wind" was created based on the opera of the same name by the Turkmen composer Rejep Rejepov. This painting was donated by the author to the museum. The artist notes that the unusual color of the tree in the picture is inspired by the illusory distortions of the colors of the desert, which occur at a certain position of the sun at sunset.

When creating both felt paintings, the author used the technique of wet and dry felting.

Biologist Tajigul Kurbanova devoted most of her life to the profession, but, having retired, she began to engage in creativity. At first, she painted pictures with paints, gradually experimenting with various techniques of fine art. The theme of her work is nature and everything connected with it. She draws rare species of birds and is deservedly recognized as an animal painter. More than once she exhibited her paintings at thematic exhibitions dedicated to environmental dates.

At present, Tajigul's paintings are exhibited in the lobby of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan as part of an exposition dedicated to the production of felt products, and Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital can visit the exhibition.
