Today, at the meeting with the Minister of External Relations of the Astrakhan Region Golovkov, the Turkmen Consul discussed opening of a Logistics Center of Turkmenistan, establishment of an auto-ferry line and other projects for further cooperation in the Astrakhan Region. Consul of Turkmenistan Garayev informed of the forthcoming visit to Astrakhan of the Turkmen Working Group consisting of the Heads of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the State Service "Turkmendenizderyaýollary" (Sea and River Transport of Turkmenistan), logistics and railway companies of the country.
The diplomat noted that the powers of the Working Group also include consideration of the opening of the regular auto-ferry line between the ports of Olya and Turkmenbashi.
Separately, the parties discussed issues related to reproduction of aquatic biological resources in order to establish cooperation and gain experience in this area.
