Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal Bin Farhan Al-Saud.
The Foreign Ministers exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations establishment between Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia, which is celebrated on February 22.
The parties considered the possibilities of further development of cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries. The important role of bilateral political consultations was noted here, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
To recap, in July last year, Rashid Meredov and Faisal Bin Farhan Al-Saud held talks in Tashkent, where they discussed key aspects of the Turkmen-Saudi agenda in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
