Today, at a meeting with Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) Yerlan Baidaulet, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov stressed that the country pays close attention to issues related to the need to increase the volume of trade in agriculture. During the conversation, the parties discussed important aspects of interaction between Turkmenistan and the IOFS and prospects for the development of cooperation. They considered programs and projects aimed at expanding cooperation to ensure food security in Islamic countries.

The Director General of the IOFS arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the International Conference “Politics of Peace and Trust - the Basis of International Security, Stability and Development”, which took place today.
