The magazine Medeniýet we syýahat (Culture and Tourism) will be created in Turkmenistan. The corresponding Resolution was signed today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The new edition will be created on the basis of the merger of the Medeniýet and Syýahat magazines of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan "in order to widely cover and popularize the successes achieved in these areas in the world."
As the news program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported, the magazine should operate on a self-supporting basis. Note that previously specialized journals were financed from the budget of the respective ministries.
In accordance with the Resolution, the journal must be published in Turkmen, English and Russian starting from January 2022 with a frequency of publication once a quarter.
