The opening ceremony of the EXPO 2020 World Exhibition was held in Dubai. The event, which will take place from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, will be attended by 137 countries and regions.

The World Expo 2020 was postponed last year due to the pandemic. The opening ceremony took place on the central square of the expo center - under the Al-Wasl dome. A complex worth about $ 7 billion was built specifically for the international exhibition in Dubai. Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli was the headliner of the opening, euronews reports.
