Akbyabek Taganova, the founder of the “Ak Tam” and “Ak Enar” business entities, representative of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, took part in the XII International Economic Summit “Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021”. The program of the forum, which was held from 28 to 30 July, was extremely rich and brought together both international experts and specialists in the development of diplomacy, innovation, finance of the Islamic economy, and young representatives of the OIC countries. On the sidelines of the summit, trainings, round tables, master classes, discussion clubs were held with the involvement of many participants, guests and observers. The key topics were: health, “Halal” as a lifestyle, Islamic finance, investments and prospects for economic development in a post-pandemic world, active involvement of young people, cross-cultural communications and others.

The sessions and business meetings of the summit were attended by the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.

The following cultural events took place within the framework of the summit: a fashion show “Kazan modest fashion day”, a screening of the winner of the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival “Preacher”, an excursion program to the ancient city of Bolgar (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a sightseeing tour to the island city of Sviyazhsk (UNESCO World Heritage Site), sightseeing tour of Kazan.

The forum was attended by over 2.5 thousand guests from 60 countries of the world, as well as from 33 regions of Russia.
