On June 12-13, in honor of the opening of the capital club “Altyn”, an open billiards championship in the discipline “Moscow Pyramid” will be held. Those wishing to participate must apply no later than June 11th. The entrance fee is 250-500 manats.
Competitions will be held in the shopping and entertainment center “Gül Zemin” on Mahtumkuli Avenue (corner of Mahtumkuli - Taslama) 217, 16th stage. Beginning in the morning on June 12 at 11-00.
In addition to competitions, an entertainment program with a fire show, a buffet and specialties from the chefs is provided.
Billiard sport is successfully developing in Turkmenistan. Every year new athletes are involved in it; it is especially popular with young people. Still, billiard sports are universal in the sense that it has no age restrictions: it is interesting and accessible to both young people and people of venerable years.
