Students of 11 Turkmen universities took part in the II Open Olympiad in Mechanics, organized by the State Power Engineering Institute of Turkmenistan (Mary), Turkmenistan: Golden Age reports.
The Olympiad was held online in one round. As a result of the competition, 6 first places were awarded, 9 - second and 14 - third.
The leaders of the competition were students of the organizing university, who took the first two places. The holder of one of them - Yazgeldy Gochmuradov - was by a significant margin ahead of his colleagues in the highest step of the podium.
2 first places were taken by representatives of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute (Dashoguz). Also among the leaders are students of the Turkmen State University and the International University of Oil and Gas.
The Olympics also included team competitions. According to their results, students of the State Power Engineering Institute and TSU named after Mahtumkuli were recognized as the best. Among the winners are students of the S. Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute (Turkmenabat).
Winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas.
