On November 28, 2021, in Ashgabat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proposed to hold the next summit of the heads of the ECO member states. The head of Turkmenistan said this at the 14th online summit held today under the chairmanship of the President of Turkey.
“I propose to hold the next summit of the heads of the ECO member states in Ashgabat on November 28, 2021, on the Day of the Economic Cooperation Organization, and also to all of you, dear colleagues, to visit the capital of Turkmenistan in order to participate in the work of this summit,” Berdimuhamedov said.
Let us remind you that at today's summit, Turkmenistan took over the chairmanship of the ECO. In this regard, the Turkmen leader expressed his deep gratitude to the member states for the confidence placed in our country.
“We regard the chairmanship as a responsible and high mission and will make every effort to make it successful, fruitful and serve the interests of the participants,” Berdimuhamedov stressed.
