In honor of 2021, passing under the motto “Turkmenistan - Homeland of Peace and Trust”, and the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan announces a competition to create a musical piece for the festive fireworks called “Inspiration of Independence”.

The purpose of the competition is to glorify the Independence, permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, to identify the most talented composers and persons with musical education, citizens involved in the creation of music, as well as to increase interest in creating musical works and attracting people engaged in creative activities.

According to a report published in the newspaper “Turkmenistan” today, musical works of different genre (symphonic arrangement, symphonic overture and modern pop music) lasting 15 minutes are accepted for the competition, they must sing the great achievements and progress of the Turkmen state, meet all the requirements in structure classical music, to combine different artistic images and make up a single musical accompaniment for fireworks.

Participants of the competition must submit notes of their work in (printed form) and in the form of an audio recording (electronic) to the Working Commission established under the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.

Musical works proposed for the competition will be accepted until March 20, 2021.
