President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the extended meeting of the Government announced that Turkmenistan conducts negotiations on the establishment of mutual communication with International sea port Aktau and sea port Kuruk in Kazakhstan.
The issue regarding the opening of logistics center in Astrakhan city and the opening of Turkmenistan trade house in Kazan is discussed with the Russian partners. A promising project of transport communication is being drawn up with access to the Russian ports of the Baltic, and then to Europe along the Caspian Sea - Volga River route.
In this regard, President entrusted to the Ministry of External Affairs together with corresponding state authorities to finish the solution of organizational and other issues with Kazakhstan and Russian colleagues and to proceed to working stage of cooperation, informs newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.
