Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, took part in the opening of a complex for the disposal of narcotic and other drugs seized from illegal traffic.

The new complex, designed to destroy narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, is located 100 kilometers North of the capital.

The facility has three modern indoor and outdoor stoves. It should be noted that the advanced technologies used in this process are the most effective and safe for both human health and the environment in General.

The head of state sent several packages of contraband goods to the hot mouth of a furnace built in accordance with international standards and guaranteeing the complete destruction of narcotic drugs. The participants, following the example of the leader of the nation, took part in the burning of drugs and psychotropic substances seized from illegal traffic by the Ministry of internal affairs.

More than 122.5 kilograms of narcotic drugs were destroyed by incineration, which corresponds to the principles of the Turkmen people who do not accept this potion, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.

"Drugs have a negative impact and harmful impact on human health, the gene pool of humanity, including the Turkmen nation. In this regard, we must continue to fight this evil uncompromisingly. Drugs have no place in our lives!", - said Berdimuhamedov.

Actions to destroy seized drugs are held in Turkmenistan annually on June 26 - the international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. This year, this event is organized on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the new complex.
