President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed Prosecutor General Batyr Atdayev to analyze the financial and economic indicators of the fuel and energy complex structures. The relevant instructions were given today during a workshop dedicated to the development of the country's Fuel and Energy complex, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
Taking into account the huge state capital investments in the industry, the head of state singled out increasing the productivity and profitability of enterprises as a priority.
Having emphasized that continuous control over the dynamics of the cost structure, implementation and improvement of methods for reducing the cost of production is an urgent requirement of the current time, the President of the country addressed a number of specific orders to the relevant managers.
In particular, the Central Bank Chairman Merdan Annadurdiyev was instructed to conduct a technical inventory of fuel and energy companies.
"This measure is aimed at further improving the supply system of the material and technical base of the enterprises of the complex," Berdimuhamedov said.
