For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan purchased gasoline and hydro treated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan also purchased gasoline produced at the Seydi refinery. Urea (SC "Türkmenhimiýa") became the subject of transactions of representatives of the business community in the UK, and high – density polyethylene-in Russia and Turkey.

In addition, hand-made carpets, dyed Terry products, cotton yarn and fabric, and denim were sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: Russia, UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of transactions exceeded 47 million 697 thousand US dollars.

Merchants from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and Armenia purchased cotton yarn for manat funds. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 25 million 402 thousand manats.

For the domestic market, domestic businessmen purchased trucks and cotton fiber for a total amount of more than 40 million 19 thousand manats.

A week ago, the amount of currency transactions on the exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 22.2 million US dollars.
