Banks in Turkmenistan are introducing new services in electronic format. This was announced today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers Deputy Prime Minister Gadyrgeldi Mushishikov, presenting for consideration the President of Turkmenistan with a proposal to use digital systems in the process of credit provided by banks to citizens.

Having approved the submitted proposal, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep in the center of constant attention the implementation of the work outlined in the "Concept for the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan in 2019-2025".

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also ordered to conduct explanatory work among the population on the importance of introducing new banking services in electronic format, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
