The Mejlis of Turkmenistan named the residential complex of the Ministry of internal Affairs, built in the Choganly residential area in the North of Ashgabat, after Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov.

"The work and life path of a respected person, an honorary veteran of the internal Affairs bodies of Turkmenistan, Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov, the father who brought up our respected President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, today serves as a school of education not only for the military personnel, but also for the entire Turkmen people," the national Parliament said in a Resolution published today in the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

Guided by the foregoing and given the dedication and impeccable work Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov for many years in the bodies of internal Affairs, special contribution to the education of youth in the spirit of diligence, devotion to the Motherland, as well as treatment of the residents of the residential complex, the personnel of bodies of internal Affairs of our country and the request of the Ministry of internal Affairs, the Mejlis of Turkmenistan held: "Assign the name of honorary veteran of internal Affairs bodies Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov to the residential complex of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Turkmenistan in the residential area of Choganly Bagtyyarlyk etrap of the city of Ashgabat."
