Turkmenistan plans to participate in the eighth meeting of the secretaries of the CIS security councils, which will held on November 18 in a video conference format.
Secretaries of the security councils of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are also expect to participate, the website of the CIS Executive Committee reports.
The meeting program includes discussion of issues related to countering new biological threats in the CIS countries, experience in combating the spread of COVID-19, issues related to countering challenges and threats in the information sphere, and a number of other relevant topics.
