The Consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan (Russian Federation) Guych Garayev discussed issues of cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere, including the activation of partnership in the training of specialized specialists for our country, with the leadership of the Caspian Institute of sea and river transport named after Admiral General F. M. Apraksin during a visit to this University.

According to the Consulate of Turkmenistan, in connection with the 25th anniversary of gaining the status of neutrality in our country, Director of the Caspian Institute of sea and river transport Olga Kartashova addressed congratulations to the Turkmen people and offered to hold an online meeting with the Institute of engineering and transport communications of Turkmenistan, expressing readiness to sign a Memorandum of understanding between the two universities.

Kartashova also introduced Guych Garayev to the specifics of the educational process and the technical equipment of the educational complex as a training center for specialists in the field of water transport.

A large familiarization tour of Garayev ended with a conversation with cadets of the Caspian Institute from among the citizens of Turkmenistan, during which the Turkmen Consul asked about their progress in their studies, living conditions and leisure, and wished them success in mastering knowledge and achieving professional competence.
