During a telephone conversation between the heads of Turkmenistan and Italy, Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella to pay an official visit to our country at any time convenient for him. This was reported by the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television.
The offer was gratefully accepted, and the Italian President noted that he would be sincerely happy to visit Turkmenistan as soon as the appropriate conditions were available.
Highly appreciating the level and content of the Turkmen-Italian cooperation, President Sergio Mattarella expressed full support for the Turkmen leader's proposals to strengthen inter-Ministerial contacts, increase and diversify economic and humanitarian cooperation, organize cultural events, and deepen ties between universities.
As noted, all of them will be reviewed in detail and submitted to the government of Italy for implementation.
