The construction of the new administrative center of the Akhal velayat on the territory of the Gokdepe etrap is proceeding at a high pace, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.

According to the work schedule, the construction of buildings of velayat branches of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, State commercial banks "Turkmenistan" and "Daikhanbank", "Halbank", joint-Stock commercial Bank "Senagat", as well as branches of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs, ministries and industry departments, public institutions, comfortable multi-floored residential buildings, the wedding Palace "Bagt Koshgi", secondary and professional educational institutions, specialized art schools, kindergartens, polyclinics is underway.

The new city will be designed to accommodate more than 70 thousand residents. In two stages, it is planned to build more than 400 cottages and multi-floored houses. For children, 10 kindergartens with 320 seats each and 19 secondary schools will be built in the new administrative center of the Akhal velayat. A wide network of medical institutions will be created, including the center for maternal and child health and other institutions. Along with this, the new city provides for the construction of an International higher school of horse breeding with a racetrack, training grounds, arenas and stables, and a Research and production center of this profile.

Recall that the first stage of construction will be implemented in 2019-2021, the second - in 2020-2022.
