President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved today a Plan of operational socio-economic measures in Turkmenistan against the acute infectious disease pandemic, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
This document was approved in order to maintain high rates of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan, implement the necessary measures to reduce the impact of complex circumstances that have arisen in the world in this area, as well as implement at the national level relevant international initiatives put forward within the framework of the UN.
In accordance with the Decree, the Ministry of foreign Affairs is required to intensify cooperation with The United Nations, its specialized agencies and international financial institutions in order to implement the above-mentioned Plan.
