Today, the capital's exhibition center "Sergi koshgi" opened the XIX international universal exhibition "White City-Ashgabat", organized by the hyakimlik of Ashgabat and the chamber of Commerce and industry of the country. This forum, which has already become a tradition, is intended to demonstrate the achievements and prospects for the development of the Turkmen capital in the field of urban planning, as well as to identify priority areas of cooperation in this area. For the seventh year now, this economic review is timed to the Day of the city of Ashgabat, celebrated on May 25.

The opening ceremony was attended by the heads of the Mejlis, members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, representatives of ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, public organizations, residents and numerous guests of the capital.

The audience listened with great attention to the welcome address Of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in which the head of state expressed confidence that "The universal exhibition will allow us to present to the whole world success in urban development, strengthen international cooperation to achieve new high levels, comprehensively study the best practices in this direction, giving a powerful impetus to the improvement of our capital, turning it into one of the most beautiful and comfortable cities on the planet".

The review is attended by about 100 representatives of companies and enterprises, as well as ministries and departments of the country, who offer a wide range of topics: from construction and architecture to electricity, processing and light industry, design and all that is somehow included in the concept of urban life, which today cannot be imagined without modern technologies.

The exhibition halls and venues display models of construction projects, innovative developments and technologies, including such areas as water supply, lighting, road construction, and the active leisure industry.

The exhibition also provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the tourist and sports opportunities of Ashgabat, get fresh information about the trends in the development of the travel and leisure industry in the Turkmen capital.
