The Palace of culture of the Vekilbazar etrap of the Mary velayat hosted a solemn presentation of commemorative medals established in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945, and valuable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to war and home front veterans. This is reported by today's issue of the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the velayat administration, party and public organizations, youth, military personnel of the Mary garrison and cadets of the local special school named after “Soltan Sanjar”. In the great hall of the house of culture, addressing the heroes of the day, the speakers cordially congratulated the veterans, noting that they gave a peaceful, happy life to the current generation.

A festive concert prepared by creative teams of the Mary velayat was held for veterans. Particularly festive - but played the Overture composer Aman Agajikov performed by the violin ensemble of the music school named after Mollanepes.
