About 160 thousand computers will be produced by the joint venture "Agzybirlik tilsimaty" for first-graders of Turkmenistan in 2020. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the corresponding Decree "in order to create favorable conditions for modern education for the young generation, as well as to give computers as a gift to students who are admitted to the first class of secondary schools in the 2020-2021 academic year".

The document allows the Ministry of education to conclude a contract with the joint venture "Agzybirlik tilsimaty" for the purchase of 159374 computers produced in Turkmenistan, their installation in educational institutions and maintenance by August 25, 2020.

In Turkmenistan, students of the first grades of secondary schools in the country have been given computers on behalf of the head of state since 2011. For the past few years, they have been produced by the company "Agzybirlik tilsimaty" of the computer technology Center of the Ministry of trade and foreign economic relations of Turkmenistan.

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held last week, The President of Turkmenistan instructed to work out the issue of establishing the production of various types of computers, including stationary, laptops and tablets, at the “Agzybirlik tilsimaty” enterprise.
