The long-awaited concert dedicated to the iconic British Band the Beatles was held in the capital's “Turkmenistan” film and concert center, the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reports.
Another question was heard at the entrance to the Turkmenistan film and concert center: "do you have an extra ticket?", which meant that the hall was sold out. Of course, this was expected, because the audience went to the concert, which was a promise for many to return to their youth, youth, at a time when all over the world from all magnetic tapes "rattled" songs of the legendary Liverpool four The Beatles. 

Since 2001, according to the decision of UNESCO, January 16 is recognized as world day of the Beatles. By the way, this is the only group awarded this honor. On this day, art venues in different countries hold evenings and cover concerts in honor of the famous four. Turkmenistan's musicians have also contributed to this worldwide music movement. A small team consisting of Vladimir Mkrtumov (keyboards), Igor Shevtsov (bass guitar), Timur Oraev (drums), Yusuf Ismailov (guitar), Alexander Kochetov (vocals) has been working together for a long time. His multi-genre repertoire is versatile and multi-lingual, which always attracts a large number of spectators to concerts.

The concert program covered the entire period of the Quartet's work, starting with early rock and roll compositions and ending with its concept albums of recent years. Performing the works in the cover version gave the musicians the opportunity to experiment with the arrangement, vocals, that is, to bring something of their own to the familiar sound. For example, the audience heard "Michelle" in jazz style, and "Help" in rock and roll style. Some of the songs were entrusted with the youth in the face of Dowran Shammyev and very young Aynur Makhmudova. Adding notes of a female voice to famous songs fills them with a different content and now the worldview of a new generation of performers, which also, according to the musicians, speaks about the universality of the “Beatles” creativity.

The evening met the expectations of Beatle mans and just fans of good music, who gathered to hear the iconic hits that once gave an impulse to the formation of a new musical worldview.
