Representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in the Global Forum on the "Smart Customs" project, which was held from October 26 to 30 at the headquarters of the World Customs Organization (WCO) in Brussels.

During the forum, Turkmen delegates spoke about the work being carried out in the country to digitize customs operations, implement modern technologies, and develop the concept of "smart" customs, according to the website of the Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

In particular, information was presented regarding the establishment of a Control and Analysis Center, the application of artificial intelligence technologies in the customs sector, the use of the "ASYCUDA World" and "Single Window" systems, the implementation of GPS monitoring to track the movement of international cargo, and the expansion of the electronic exchange of advance information with the customs administrations of foreign states.
