A professional competition for banking sector employees has taken place in Turkmenistan. Held under the theme "Transformations of the Banking System of Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – The Foundation for Sustainable Development," the event was hosted in the conference hall of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs and coincided with the 33rd anniversary of the introduction of the national currency, the manat. The competition was aimed at enhancing the professional training and intellectual capacity of banking specialists, as well as identifying and rewarding talented employees who demonstrate high-level performance across various areas of economics and finance. The competition took place in two stages. In the first stage, bank employees from the city of Arkadag and the country’s velayats competed. The second stage involved employees from the central offices of banks located in the city of Ashgabat.

The participants in the professional competition were given a fair and objective assessment by a jury that included experienced banking professionals as well as members of the academic faculty.

Following the competition, the top places were awarded as follows:

Among employees of banks in the velayats and the city of Arkadag:

• 1st place – Mary velayat Branch of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan;

• 2nd place – Dashoguz velayat Branch of the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan "Halkbank";

• 3rd place – Ahal velayat Branch of the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan "Halkbank".

Among the staff of the central offices of banks in the city of Ashgabat:

• 1st place – Central Bank of Turkmenistan;

• 2nd place – Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Rysgal";

• 3rd place – State Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan "Daýhanbank".
