A series of concerts by young faculty members is taking place at the Turkmen Conservatory

A series of concerts by young faculty members is taking place at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory in Ashgabat.

Such concert programs are held as part of the annual "Zehin joşguny" festival, which aims to raise the creative bar for young educators, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

Young educators give presentations before students and their more experienced colleagues.

A concert was held in the Conservatory’s Small Hall for students of the Department of Variety Arts, featuring renowned vocalist and lyric tenor Begench Moshiyev, along with Enejan Nuryeva, a senior lecturer in the Department of Specialized Piano, and Leyla Seydarova, a lecturer in the Department of Variety Arts.

Begench Moshiyev’s performance program was structured around three themes: Italian classics, Russian folk songs, and works by composer Chary Nurymov. The repertoire included "’O sole mio," "In Memory of Caruso," "Song of the Steed," and others. Aysoltan Bayramova served as the accompanist.

Enejan Nuryeva performed nocturnes by Frédéric Chopin.

Leyla Seydarova played the piece "Oýlanma" by Ovezmurad Gandymov on the violin; together with third-year student Mahriban Bayramova, she performed a "Waltz" by Dmitri Shostakovich, with Enejan Nuryeva serving as their accompanist.

The audience greeted the concert performers with thunderous applause and cries of "Bravo!"
