Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev took part in the International Educational Forum "Central Asia – A New Space for Education, Science, and Innovation," which was held on October 28 in Tashkent.

In his remarks at the opening of the forum, D. Gurbangeldiyev expressed his gratitude to the Uzbek side for the warm welcome and the high level of organization of the meeting. It was noted that Turkmenistan is implementing a Higher Education Development Strategy for 2026–2052, as well as various youth and industrial programs. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The Minister emphasized the strategic nature of the Turkmen-Uzbek partnership—reinforced by recent high-level agreements in Awaza—and reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s readiness to foster academic mobility, scientific ties, and joint innovation within the region.
