From October 7 to 9, Turkmenistan’s Avaza serves as the main venue for international meetings and CIS forums

From October 7 to 9, the “Awaza” National Tourist Zone served as a major venue for international meetings and forums, as well as a symbol of openness and cultural exchange.

It will host the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State, a consultative meeting of the leaders of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, the Caspian Environmental Summit, as well as dozens of thematic conferences, cultural events, and exhibitions.

Exhibitions, concerts, and festivals of national cuisines taking place on the Caspian coast will highlight the rich heritage of CIS countries and neighboring states. This fosters an atmosphere of trust and friendship, where diplomacy is complemented by the cultures and traditions of the peoples.

Particular attention will be paid to the environmental agenda and the rational use of the region's natural resources. The Caspian Environmental Summit and meetings on water resources will mark an important step toward joint solutions aimed at environmental preservation and ensuring a sustainable future. By advancing these initiatives, Turkmenistan reaffirms its role as a responsible partner within the international community.
