The number of people hospitalized with suspected food poisoning following a wedding in Azerbaijan's Kurdamir district has reached 91. The Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TƏBİB) reported this to RIA Novosti.

"Ninety-one people were hospitalized at the Kurdamir Central District Hospital with suspected poisoning," the agency stated.

Earlier on Thursday, the Azerbaijani news agency APA reported a mass poisoning incident at a wedding in the area. At the time, 50 people were reported affected.

The report provided no details regarding the condition of the victims, the suspected cause of the poisoning, or whether a case has been opened.
