The first foreign participants of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2026 are arriving in Ashgabat

The first international participants of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2026 (TIF 2026) are already arriving in Ashgabat. With only hours remaining until the start of the business program, the participants are beginning their introduction to Turkmenistan with a rich cultural agenda.

The first stop will be Old Nisa—an ancient Parthian fortress and one of Turkmenistan's major historical monuments. Visitors will be able to explore the archaeological complex and learn more about the history of one of the ancient world's greatest states.

Upon returning to Ashgabat, the participants will visit the National Museum of the Turkmen Carpet, where they will learn about the traditions of national carpet weaving and unique examples of Turkmen art.

The final stop on the itinerary will be the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, where guests will continue exploring the country's historical and cultural heritage.

The main business program of TIF 2026 begins on October 1. The two-day schedule includes plenary sessions, the signing of joint documents, and B2B and B2G meetings, as well as discussions on investment opportunities in energy and petrochemicals, transport and logistics, trade, industry, agribusiness, and the digital economy.

Thus, even before the business sessions began, the forum organizers gave foreign guests the opportunity to explore the history and culture of Turkmenistan—prior to turning to the discussion of international investment and business cooperation, which will be the central theme of TIF 2026.
