A young female athlete broke the women's world record for solving the 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube twice in three days at World Cube Association competitions.

Six-year-old Lian Yunzhi became the only girl in the world with an average solve time of under 4,5 seconds. She first set a record with an average time of 4.52 seconds and subsequently improved it to 4,27 seconds at competitions in Wuhan and Guangzhou, China.

A young athlete from Sichuan Province has mastered over 1300 Rubik's Cube-solving algorithms following intensive training, during which she dedicated two to three hours a day to the cube over the past year.
