The second meeting of the Strategic Group on the Development of International Transport Corridors took place in Moscow.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the railway administrations of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Georgia, and the Republic of Estonia, as well as representatives of the Directorate of the CIS Council on Railway Transport and the Information and Computing Center of Railway Administrations (ICC RA). Meeting participants were informed about the progress and procedure for coordinating the draft Concept for the Development of International Railway Transport Corridors.

During the meeting, decisions were made to work on automating the monitoring processes for the MCTS (Main Container Train Service), as well as on establishing a regulatory framework, an end-to-end schedule for container train operations across the CIS region, and a system to monitor its implementation.
