Armenia highly values the contribution of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to strengthening friendly relations between the two countries, stated Arsen Avagyan, the Armenian Ambassador to Ashgabat.

"I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for their personal attention and consistent efforts aimed at developing and strengthening friendly relations between Armenia and Turkmenistan," the diplomat said at a reception marking the 35th anniversary of Armenia's independence.

He emphasized that the leadership of Turkmenistan has made a significant contribution to further deepening political dialogue, expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, and developing traditional ties of friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

According to the ambassador, as it marks the 35th anniversary of its independence, Armenia looks back on the path it has traversed with gratitude and toward the future with confidence, striving to combine economic development and technological modernization with active international cooperation.

A reception marking the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia was held at the “Yyldyz” hotel in Ashgabat. The event was attended by Guvanch Agajanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan; representatives of the diplomatic corps and the academic, public, and business communities; as well as Armenian compatriots residing in Turkmenistan.
