From September 16 to 18, an intensive training course on implementing advanced risk management approaches was held at the World Customs Organization Regional Training Centre in Turkmenistan (RTC Turkmenistan).

Approximately 30 customs service specialists participated in the training. International expert Sertaç Yapıcı served as the trainer, introducing participants to the operation of risk management systems within customs authorities. The expert highly commended the work being carried out in this area within Turkmenistan's customs system and highlighted the importance of interregional and international information exchange.

The event was organized by the International Trade Centre as part of the regional project "Ready4Trade Central Asia: Pathway to Prosperity via the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor," according to the website of the Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
