On September 18, the results of the national round of the biology Olympiad for high school students were announced at the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan. This was reported on the Ministry of Education's website.

Based on the results of the Olympiad, the top performers were:

1st place – Sahetmurat Garayev, an 11th-grade student at Specialized Secondary School No. 19 in the Babadayhan etrap of Ahal velayat;

2nd place – Guljemal Maksadova, a 12th-grade student at Specialized Secondary School No. 18 in the Babadayhan etrap of Ahal velayat; Aynur Annamammedova, a 12th-grade student at Secondary School No. 20 in the Turkmenkala etrap of Mary velayat;

3rd place – Shanazar Ashirov, 12th-grade student at Specialized Secondary School No. 37 in the Kerki etrap, Lebap velayat; Aylar Esenova, 12th-grade student at Specialized Secondary School No. 20 in the city of Balkanabat, Balkan velayat; Mahri Atajanova, 12th-grade student at Specialized Secondary School No. 10 in the city of Dashoguz, Dashoguz velayat.
