Ladies and gentlemen!

I extend a warm welcome to you all at this Business Summit, which has become an important and authoritative platform for constructive dialogue between the states of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea.

I view the current business dialogue as a crucial starting point for achieving the goals of a comprehensive, systemic, and long-term economic, trade, investment, and business partnership between our countries across the widest possible range of areas.

Business communities play a crucial role in this process.

I am convinced that responsible and successful entrepreneurs—who have achieved results through their own hard work and talent—are called upon not only to participate in development but also to initiate new projects and forms of interstate cooperation between Central Asia and the Republic of Korea, providing governments with practical and methodological support in adopting forward-looking decisions.

This will create a solid foundation for our countries to move together toward new frontiers of economic development and progress.

In this context, I would particularly like to highlight that the economic and technological potential of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea, as well as the dynamics of their development, open up vast opportunities for realizing the boldest and most ambitious plans.

I would like to emphasize that Turkmenistan will be fully engaged in these processes and stands ready to provide all necessary support for the development of direct contacts and exchanges between business communities, as well as to encourage business activity, independence, and initiative in partnership endeavors and undertakings.

Korea has established itself as a reliable and promising partner of the Central Asian states. Turkmenistan highly appreciates the significant contribution of Korean companies and financial institutions to the implementation of joint projects.

For many years, Korean companies have been reliable partners for Turkmenistan, with whom we have implemented—and continue to carry out—large-scale, long-term projects across various sectors.

I am confident that by pursuing a path of effective partnership integration, our countries and the business entities representing them can secure a worthy place in the current and future geoeconomic landscape of the continent and the world.

Turkmenistan assigns a special role to the transport and logistics sector, viewing it as a strategic priority.

I call upon the business community to actively leverage the benefits and advantages of the geographical location of Central Asia and Korea—situated at key hubs of continental transport arteries—and to actively participate in establishing sustainable transport corridors and enhancing logistical connectivity.

Our country is ready to provide all necessary support for this area of partnership.

The first Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit has just concluded; we note its timeliness and practical significance. It should also be noted that the exchange of views during the summit took place in an atmosphere of mutual trust and reaffirmed the shared commitment to deepening multifaceted cooperation.

The outcomes of the Business Summit deserve special attention; they will be reflected in the adoption of a Joint Statement and the signing of agreements and memoranda that will give fresh impetus to our cooperation and create a solid foundation for its further development.

I am convinced that the agreements reached will be successfully implemented and will serve to strengthen trust, expand business relations, and boost mutual trade between the Central Asian states and Korea.

I wish the participants of the Business Summit productive work, constructive negotiations, and further success in strengthening partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation.
