First joint venture "Ýerli Tor": Korean technology, Turkmen production

On September 15, 2026, in Seoul, an agreement was signed to establish the first Turkmen-Korean joint venture, "Ýerli Tor," within the framework of the President of Turkmenistan’s state visit to the Republic of Korea and the Turkmen-Korean business forum.

An agreement to establish a joint venture has been reached between "Amatly Chozgut," one of Turkmenistan's leading IT companies, and the Korean company "S&T System Inc."

The primary objective of "Ýerli Tor" will be to establish a domestic production base in Turkmenistan for modern servers, data storage systems, and network equipment. The Korean side will provide technologies, technical solutions, and manufacturing expertise, while the Turkmen side will handle production organization, the creation of necessary infrastructure, and the adaptation of products to domestic market requirements.

The enterprise will also handle equipment assembly, configuration, and testing, software integration, and quality control, as well as warranty and post-warranty service. Future plans include increasing the level of localization, transferring new technologies, and training Turkmen specialists.

The strategic goal of the project is to supply government institutions, large enterprises, data centers, and other critical infrastructure facilities with modern and reliable IT equipment manufactured directly in Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of the business forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between "Ojar Asia" PE and "S&T System Inc." regarding cooperation in the fields of road infrastructure, security systems, and transport infrastructure management.

The creation of "Ýerli Tor" and the signing of the Memorandum represent practical outcomes of Turkmen-Korean business cooperation, opening up new opportunities for localizing high-tech production, implementing modern solutions, and developing long-term partnerships between companies from both countries.
