The foldable iPhone will be named Duo and have a starting price of 2000 USD

Apple will call its first foldable smartphone iPhone Duo, not iPhone Ultra, as previously thought. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reported this on the eve of the presentation, noting that the basic version of the device will cost 2000 USD.

According to the source, a starting price of 2000 is provided for the version with 256 GB of memory, and the older version with the maximum storage capacity will cost about 3000. The relatively restrained starting price is expected to help stimulate demand for the device, despite Apple's rising costs due to memory shortages.

According to a leak, the smartphone will be available in dark blue and white and will support the Apple Pencil—more than a year after Samsung dropped S Pen support from the Galaxy Z Fold lineup.

Sales of the iPhone Duo are expected to start no earlier than October. Apple is set to unveil official details about the device at a presentation on September 9.
