Ashgabat to host B5+1 business session for Turkmen businesses

Representatives of the private sector of Turkmenistan are invited to participate in the B5+1 business session, which will be held jointly with the Center for International Private Entrepreneurship (CIPE) on September 17, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 in the Ish Nokady conference hall of the “Arkach” business center.

The event is organized as an informal roundtable discussion, where participants will be able to learn more about opportunities for regional business cooperation and share their perspectives on the current business environment in Turkmenistan.

The session will present the B5+1 (Business 5+1) initiative—a business analogue of the C5+1 diplomatic platform, bringing together representatives of businesses, business associations, and government agencies from five Central Asian countries and the United States. The initiative aims to develop regional cooperation and find solutions to common economic and regulatory issues, initiated by the business community.

Speakers at the session will include Natalia Otel Belan, Director of CIPE's Europe and Eurasia Division, who has over 25 years of experience in international relations and economic development, and Asel Kubanychbekova, CIPE's Regional Program Manager for Central Asia, who manages the U.S. State Department-funded IBECA program and specializes in public-private dialogue and support for women's entrepreneurship in the region.

The organizers invite representatives of Turkmen businesses to participate in the session, share their opinions, and discuss opportunities for developing business ties between Central Asian countries and the United States, as well as within the region.
