On October 18, the International Algorithmic Programming Olympiad "RuCode 2026" will be held in Turkmenistan in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. The educational center "Baki Tilla" will officially act as the organizer of the event for Turkmen youth.

As noted in the message, annually the Olympiad gathers more than 10 thousand talented participants from 89 regions. Schoolchildren and students who have shown the best results will receive a special invitation to the grand final, which will be held in Moscow in December of this year.
Registration for participation in the qualifying stage has already started. Schoolchildren, students and specialists in the field of IT are allowed to compete. The Olympics are held in a team format - a team can include from one to three participants.

Depending on their level, participants will be able to choose one of three categories: group A-B – for experienced professionals who have achieved success in national and international programming competitions; group C-D – for those who have already mastered basic algorithms and are looking to develop their skills; and group E-F – for beginners just getting started with programming.
Last year, the “RuCode” Olympiad entered the Russian Book of Records for the number of participants. In 2026, the event will expand its scope: the competition will be held in person at several venues, both in Russia and abroad. Organizers note that space at the venues is limited and recommend that those interested register in advance.
