Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proposed to develop a conceptual project "smart society"

Turkmenistan is consistently working on the creation of "smart" cities, it is necessary to begin the development of the conceptual project "smart society". This was stated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

According to TDH, the National Leader of the Turkmen people held a general lesson on Wednesday in the Palace "Ruhyet" of the city of Arkadag, dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, as well as to the beginning of the new school year. The event was attended by representatives of public organizations, young specialists from various sectors of the economy, rectors, teachers and students of universities and schools, as well as representatives of mass media.

“We are consistently working on creating "smart" cities. I think it is necessary to begin the development of the conceptual project "smart society". Sama Concept should be comprehensive in nature and cover all key aspects of the activity. Youth representatives, including students, should be actively involved in the project, as they are able to bring fresh views, valuable proposals and bold innovative approaches," said Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

According to him, today the world is living in an era of rapid development of new technologies and widespread introduction of artificial intelligence, and these realities determine the vector of further development. The main goal of the National Leader of Turkmenistan was to bring the country into the ranks of industrially developed states.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also said that Turkmenistan will continue to increase international cooperation in the field of education and innovation in order to reach the leading positions in science and technology. According to him, the country should strive to become a center of advanced education, the exchange of ideas and the creation of startups - a space that is attractive to young people from the standpoint of intellectual cooperation.

The Chairman of the People's Council proposed to deal with the formation of legal and organizational conditions for the creation of international scientific and educational youth clusters in Turkmenistan in various directions, noting that talented young people from other countries will be able to come to the country and implement their ideas together with the Turkmen youth.
