UAE football club “Al-Jazira”, an opponent of Turkmenistan's “Arkadag” in the AFC Champions League 2 group stage, has signed “Inter” midfielder Kristjan Asllani on loan.

The agreement runs until the end of the 2026/27 season. Transfermarkt estimates the 24-year-old Albanian's value at 12 million euros.

Asllani spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at “Beşiktaş”, playing 17 matches and scoring two goals and providing two assists. In total, the midfielder played 99 matches for “Inter”, scoring four goals and providing five assists.

It was previously reported that former “Zenit” winger Malcom also joined “Al-Jazira” on a free transfer. Prior to this, the 29-year-old Brazilian terminated his contract with “Al-Hilal”, where he had been playing since 2023. Transfermarkt estimates his value at 18 million euros.

As a reminder, “Arkadag's” opponents in group “B” of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League 2 are “Al-Jazira”, Iranian “Gol Gohar”, and Bahrain's “Al-Muharraq”.

“Al-Jazira” and “Arkadag” will meet in the second round of the group stage, which will take place on October 14 in the UAE, and in the sixth round, the match will take place on December 9 at the “Arkadag” stadium.
