Two universities in Turkmenistan received international certificates

Today, as part of the opening of two new university complexes in Turkmenistan – the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi – a ceremony was held to award international certificates.

As reported by TDH, the new building complex of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction was awarded the following certificates:

  • On behalf of “CERT International” - international certificates confirming the compliance of the institute’s new building complex with the international quality management system standard ISO 9001:2015; international standard for environmental management systems ISO 14001:2015; international standard for occupational health and safety management systems ISO 45001:2018; the international standard for management systems for educational organizations ISO 21001:2018 and the international standard for information security management systems ISO 27001:2022.

  • UNDP “Green” Certificate for Energy Efficiency; “Green” Certificate for Water-Saving Technologies; “Green” Certificate for Involving Students in Sustainable Energy Development; Certificate in Water Conservation and Management; Certificate in Energy Efficiency and Monitoring; and Certificate in Education and Professional Development.

  • From “Pearson VUE” - Certiport Authorized Testing Center (CATC) certificate on the establishment of an authorized international examination center at the institute.

The Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute was awarded:

  • Certificate of the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University of the Russian Federation for the implementation of innovative pedagogy;

  • Certificate from the "Contribution to the Future" Charitable Foundation for significant contribution to improving the quality of training of teaching staff and the introduction of innovative technologies into the education system in Turkmenistan;

  • Certificate from the United Nations Children's Fund for special contribution and cooperation in improving the quality of education, in the social sphere and the development of inclusive education in Turkmenistan;

  • A letter of thanks from the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education for the construction and commissioning of a complex of new modern buildings and a Certificate of Membership in the International Association of UNESCO Universities.
