Apple has officially announced the date of its traditional fall presentation – the event will take place on September 9. A corresponding announcement appeared on the corporation's website.

The presentation, titled "Surprise and Shine," will take place in the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino. It's scheduled to begin at 22:00 Ashgabat time.

According to preliminary media reports, the key new products at the event will be the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, as well as Apple's first foldable smartphone, which may be called the iPhone Ultra. However, the base iPhone 18 model is expected to arrive later in this generation, presumably in the spring of 2027.

In addition to smartphones, the presentation may also feature updated Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 smartwatches, as well as, presumably, new AirPods 5 headphones.

Pre-orders for the new iPhones are reportedly expected to begin on September 12, with sales expected to begin on September 18, 2026. Apple is expected to announce the final dates during the event itself.

It's also noted that the event could be organizationally significant: on September 1, Tim Cook will officially step down as Apple's CEO, becoming executive chairman of the board, and John Ternus will take his place. Therefore, the September show could be the first major presentation by the company's new leader.

The event broadcast will traditionally be available to watch on Apple's official website and the company's YouTube channel.
