Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan, A. Bayramov, took part in the "Program for Introduction to Japanese Traditions" organized by the Imperial House in Gifu on August 20.

According to the Turkmen Embassy's website, the events were attended by the mayor of Gifu, representatives of the Imperial House of Japan, and heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Japan.

At the event, Ambassador A. Bayramov spoke on behalf of the diplomatic corps accredited in Japan, emphasizing the important role of developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation in strengthening bilateral friendly relations between the countries.

The ambassador also spoke about Turkmenistan's efforts to promote the fame of Ahal-Teke horses worldwide and to widely disseminate their historical and cultural significance in connection with the proclamation of the motto "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses" in 2026.
